Sandwich Poetry

This was really frustrating. I hope it came out decently enough.

Heart, we will forget him by Emily Dickinson
Heart, we will forget him,

You and I, tonight!
You must forget the warmth he gave,
I will close my eyes
, I will forget the light.
When you have done pray tell me,
Then I, my thoughts, will dim.
Haste! ‘lest while you’re lagging
I may remember him!

Sandwich poem by Emily Dickinson/rocksteadyvibes
Heart, we will forget him,
We will do whatever it may take.

You and I, tonight!
Heart, we will erase the memories he helped create.

You must forget the warmth he gave,
Do not succumb over the phone.
I will close my eyes,
I will forget the light.
Tonight I will sleep alone.

When you have done pray tell me,
and we will celebrate in the early sunrise.
Then I, my thoughts, will dim.
My soul will shed itself from his lies.

Haste! ‘lest while you’re lagging
I will mend you, heart. even if

I may remember him!
he may never go away, I will bury him alive.

Soft-spoke encouragement by rocksteadyvibes
We will do whatever it may take.

Heart, we will erase the memories he helped create.

Do not succumb over the phone,
tonight I will sleep alone.

and we will celebrate in the early sunrise.
My soul will shed itself from his lies.

I will mend you, heart. even if

he may never go away, I will bury him alive.
